Mae Hong Son is a region celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Influenced by historic Yunnanese migration, it blends Chinese architecture and trade with the traditions of local hill tribes. Today, its fertile highlands are home to thriving coffee-growing communities.

These beans are processed using the washed (wet) method, where the coffee cherry’s skin and pulp are removed before fermentation and washing. This brings out a clean, balanced flavor profile that highlights the bean’s natural character.

The result is a versatile and flavorful cup, perfect for your favorite brewing method, whether it’s espresso, filter, cold brew, or French press.

Customer photo review of Mae Au Kor

This has a balanced profile for me, I used it in both French press and espresso machine and it is good. The best way I use this beans is in cold brew, absolute peak. Highly recommended for versatility and quality.

Brighter than expected. Ideal for milk based drinks. Keep extraction on the short side vs a long pull because it tends to highlight the brightness too much. Needs a finer grind. I combined this with the dark roast (un-scientifically 50-50) and found a perfect balance!

I only make espresso-based white coffees at home, and Mae Au Kor makes a nice and smooth-tasting coffee. I liked it as much as Berry Good. The delivery was fast and I also like the simple and elegant packaging.

it’s a really solid light roast, honestly. You get this nice peanut butter and mocha vibe with a bit of almond that makes it smooth and easy to drink. Perfect in the morning!
